Awarded 1st Place in a 3 dimensional mosaic category at the Wanneroo Agricultural show for this striking urn. Created using beads from old jewellery, kiln fired ullseyeglass vitreous glass, dichroic glass and ceramic tile. Using Ceramic tiles as the background with a random pattern allowed alot of freedom. 'How do you manage to stick the tiles on without them falling down?' Simple answer: I found some old cushions and towels and propped the urn on its side.
